Dadal is some 600 km from Ulaanbaatar towards the north east in the province of Hentiy (Khentii), close to the Russian border. The river Onon, which flows for a short distance through the province is close by. Hentiy is the recognised birth place of Chinggis Khan, although the exact location is open to debate, given that his family were nomads. |
